Ann and Roger met in 1966 when Carol and Roger were members of the Hayes Youth Choir and about to start production of "Iolanthe". Short of fairies for the chorus, Carol told Ann they needed bodies and dragged her along - the rest as they say is history. Ann and Roger bought their engagement rings in Cologne on a choir visit to the Rhineland, staying at the lovely Rhineside village of Boppard. They continued singing together in the Youth Choir (subsequently Miscellany Singers) right up to the time Ann gave birth to Victoria - in fact she was singing Vivaldi's Gloria in Harmondsworth Church a week before Victoria's birth!
